Eat immunity boosting vitamins:
There are three elements when discussing immunity which are
vitamin c, zinc and selenium. Consumption of food which contains these three
elements will strengthen immune system. Vitamin C can easily be found in variety
of fruits and vegetables. These fruits and veggies stimulate the formation of
antibodies. Therefore, include loads of leafy vegetables and colorful
fruits to stimulate your immune system.
Secondly, zinc which can be found in protein and
is essential for the immune system and for recovery. Seafood, beans and legumes
are some example of protein which can improve immune system response.
Furthermore, dairy products such as yogurt can also help in meeting your protein
needs as these contain probiotics which can support the immune system.
Lastly, selenium which can be found in nuts as
these are loaded with antioxidants and also provides other vitamins like
vitamin E which is another nutrient for immunity.
Reduce Stress
Stress can produce hormones which tax the immune
system. Reducing stress is the key to have a healthy immune system therefore it
is important to have work life balance, take breaks when needed and use
stress-reduction techniques.
Sleep:
Lack of sleep increases stress and we already know
stress can hurt our immunity therefore it is important to take good sleep and
to do that Reduce caffeinated drinks specially at the night time and also
reduce usage of technology and mobile phones.
Exercise:
This can be one of the best things to do to boost
immunity for this you don’t have to have a proper gym even at this time of quarantine
exercise can be done at home. However, stressing the body too much can be harmful
so light exercises can keep it all healthy.
Hence taking these measures you can prevent yourself
significantly from covid19.
